About
Primal Architecture grew out of the notion that nature is already the best designer out there. Why try to compete against it when building holistically in connection with nature brings richer ideas and custom, unique creations?
From the beginning, Kyle was looking to create plans that worked in harmony with nature, matched its energy, and enhanced its beauty. He wanted the inspiration he found in the shapes and constructions of the natural world to be evident in his plans. The homes Kyle envisioned walked the line between luxurious and rustic, sustainable and bespoke. It wasn’t enough for his designs to model nature; they needed to co-exist with it.
Kyle graduated with a Master of Architecture degree from the University of New Mexico and began working towards his vision of structures that mirrored what he loved about nature. What he wanted was to make buildings that were not only unique and stunning but also sustainable. His training helped him approach this topic from both practical and creative angles to find new solutions that provided beauty and function.
Thus, custom-made log cabins and homes made from natural materials with a focus on aesthetics and environmental impacts became Kyle’s driving force. He found a niche where sustainable building methods complemented natural beauty, producing structures both large and small. Seamlessly melding design and nature together comes easily to him, and he brings the best of both worlds to his luxury creations.
